Question Intake Flutter? [NEED HELP ASAP]

Yo guys my EVO 8 is making a terrible flutter that sounds like a damn turkey call when i let off the gas at any RPMs.

It had a typhoon intake kit, which I took off put on the stock intake and a new stock blow off valve and then a buschur intake cone.

it is still making the damn flutter noise!! i just dont know what to do anymore??

Did you install the stock BOV backwards? The hat should be pointing sideways, not up towards the hood.

What exactly is the hat? And how will this effect the flutter?

My Buschur intake makes a fluttering noise. I didn't install it and haven't really paid much attention to it, I just assumed it was supposed to make that sound for some reason, but it definately flutters. I will have to see if the stock BOV is on the right way. It kind of sounds like the SSQV BOV, weird stuff.

^^^^ look up pictures of right bov placement. Basicly the top head (where the vaccum hose connects) is supposed to point up (towards you when you look at it)

Did you bother to go look at the BOV? It takes about half a second to figure out what the "hat" is. You can also find a few hundred pics of the proper orientation by searching just to be sure.

No. The piston should be facing the UICP and the mouth where the boost pressure is release should be facing the turbo inlet piping. You're getting flutter cause if it's backwards the valve is constantly opening and closing to let off the boost pressure.
