Mitsubishi Vs Subaru Race This Weekend
Hey all,
Just a reminder that the 3rd Annual Mitsubishi VS Subaru race is this weekend, here in Ohio. The event is sponsored by Buschur Racing and Dynoflash.
Saturday, June 23rd is an open house, dyno competition and just general hang out at our shop. This year there are large banners over the street welcoming everyone to town for it. It's very cool. There will be police here blocking off Main Street for us so we can park in the street if need be. We will have a great food vendor here too. The few shops we have in town will be open with some sales and such too. Day starts at 9am and we will be done at 5 pm.
Sunday, June 24th is the actual racing. 8am to 5 pm at Norwalk Raceway Park, Nowark, Ohio. Very simple event with just 4 classes. WRX VS EVO, Subaru Q8, Mitsubishi Q8 and a bracket class. This event has doubled in size in the 1st year so we are expecting a large turn out this weekend. There will be trophies for 1-3 in each class, a 1st place for Subaru and Mitsubishi on the dyno.
Come and watch ourselves, AMS and others all attempt to lay down some new even better numbers than we have in the past.

Going to be some killer pricing on some misc stuff at the shop Sat and track Sunday. We've dug up a bunch of parts for EVO's, new and used we are determined to get rid of, basically regardless of cost. Some used downpipes, some new Ebay exhausts and intercoolers we bought to test and either did test them or got tired of the loud mouths and decided not to. External wastegates, boost controllers etc. A good 2.4 liter block/crank for an EVO build, Hoosier QTP's, my Enkei wheels with my Neova's on them, tons of other used stuff, DSM and EVO, little bit of Subaru. Lots of stuff we want to sell and make room on our shelves.
I'll be there. I am making my way up there tomorrow night, so that I can go to DB's open house event with a couple of friends, one who has a BR powered EVO from Cincy.
Last year I went to the DSM Shootout and it was an awesome event, very organized, great track preparation, simply awesome. It seems that Dave is very good at organizing this type of event, props to you Dave

Any Idea how many Subarus will make it? I think last year, there were barely any there.... unless I'm wrong. It would be nice to get a nice even number. Wish I were going. Hope it all goes well.
