+1 on gapping the spark plugs down to .22 - .23

 

So I finally threw a check engine light today. . its code Po401-Exhaust recirculation flow is insufficient (probably egr valve) Could this cause my car to be running like this?

 

Can anyone answer that?

well I changed plugs today and checked for leaks today and still its stumbling at 10 psi. .

clean the carbon off of your egr valve with some throttle body cleaner. then problem solved...

 

an egr valve with the pintle stuck or sticking will cause it to stumble. does it or has it died while coming to a stop? sometimes you can try to clean the carbon off, but it usually doesn't last. you gotta get a new one.
