Mitsubishi UK are not that bad they have just given me a new gearbox after 3rd gear let go

cheers

Good time to get it done with $2=£1.

the exchange rate is about the only thing in the UK's favour just now.

Looked at doing an engine build in the UK and most quote approached £22,000
for an output of around 650bhp at the flywheel so it was a no brainer to start looking across the pond

cheers

Yeah, there was a thread on here a little while ago where a guy had shipped his FQ-340 to Florida to have work done on it as it was cheaper than getting it done in the UK

650bhp is a hell of a lot!

I remember reading that thread

just doesn't add up how it can be cheaper to ship a car thosands of miles and have work done cheaper than your local garage

Does anybody know who has one in stock and for how much?

I have tried a few vendors that are advertising as having them but when you contact them to order - no engine available

cheers

John
