Car got broken into last night.
what is an alarm going to do? If the thief has a gun and you run out, your gonna get shot. Life leason, a car is not an investment, it is a money pit that will never give any returns, other than heart aches when s*** happens.
Sorry that you had to go through it, but that is how I realized that unless I had a garage, I won't anything, but a stock car and leave nothing inside it.

that sucks...i had my car broken into a month ago...they ripped the dash apart trying to get he cd player and stuff...luckly i had an alarm with a pager I ran out side with my dog and a shot gun hoping he was still there...unfortunatly he had already ran off...needless to say my evo is in the garage at all times now no matter what....

1. 1 i dont know what kind of shift knob it is. it came with the car. i can take pics if you want , but ive never seen it online.
2. the insurance company is comingf out tommorow to look at the damages.
3. they took jack **** from my car. they broke the window and opened the glove box , but they took nothing. they didnt even attempt to take the headunit. however in my brothers lightning they tried to rip it out but couldnt. i also had like 75 cd,s in the car but they were behind the driver seat on the floor (thank god) and they didnt see them. when they got into my gmc jimmy they only took the head unit. they didnt even notice my tool bag for work theat had over $300 worth of tools in it.
4. the cop took fingerprints this morning but thier was to much "dew" and he couldnt get anything.
5. You see the place were my car got broken into is were me and my dad are building a new gurage. its going to be a sick 4 car garage down at the end of my yard. my car was parked on the gravel drivway that is leading up to are gurage thats being built. it sucks.

Please only speak if youre going to say something useful.Are you EFFIN kidding me? Not 1 but 3 cars were broken into on his property.I dont care what you say,had an alarm went off thieves wouldve been gone.Youre just an (choose word here) posting something like this.
Back on topic....Week one I got my car.Week two I got my clifford
Wouldnt be able to sleep without it.....
In addition Ive got the DVR ....Im on candid camera.At least try to Protect your so-called money pit people.
I block the evo in everynight and Ill be adding a club soon
My goodies are not going to be taken in my own yard.Sorry but you better catch me at the mall and tow it.To the poster hopefully you learned your lesson and you get an alarm.I know I did back in '99'.My window got smashed,interior gashed,headunit gone,radar gone.Never again so easy.

I didnt want/need remote start either.My main concern was the pager.This unit is great.Car is tampered with and beep, Im aware.The newer clifford is the shiznit though.1-mile range.You dont have to go overboard.An LED light alone might have saved you.Just create obstacles.Nothing else to it.No car is full proof.Anything is better than nothing.Clifford or Viper....

is clifford and viper the same company. they seem identical. i think clifford looks better but i have a $100 bestbuy card and they only sell viper alarms at best buy.
