Last night beetween 12pm-5am my car got broken into. i came home late around 11:30pm and went inside to go to bed. then when i woke up at 5am to go to work i walked out to my car and saw my passenger window down. thats what i thought at first then i saw the window smashed in and glass everywere. the people that did this didnt even steal anything. my glovebox was open but nothing was missing. then i went over to my daily driver car i take to work (94 GMC Jimmy) and saw my head unit was riped out. then i looked at my brothers SVT Lightning and saw someone smashed the slider window out and stole his $300 radar detector and hos $800 digital camera. this sucks *** so much. now my window tint wont mach the rest of my wondows. also my interior has some cuts on the seats and scratches on the door. i Work my *** off to get things I want in life and people just are worthless so they take what other people work for.

Dude man that sucks! But I have to ask, none of the nice rides had alarms, I mean an EVO and an SVT with no alarm.(WTF?) Plus if you can afford the car you can afford to replace all the window tint! My ride got stolen 5 years ago and stripped to the frame...I feel you!

That's the reasoning of people who steal nice stuff. "They can afford it". Just because you can afford the car and to take car of it doesn't mean you can spend at-will on anything related to the car.

BTW, that royally sucks. It would almost be worth having that happen just so you could catch some jackhole doing it and make him pay.

 

That sucks, samething happen to me 3 years ago with my Lancer. They took all my stero equip bout 6000 worth. Wat p!@#$%d me off the most is that it was rainning and the whole enterior got wet. It took bout 2 weeks to dry up and fix

I know how you fell man, my evo got broken into a few months ago. They took my greddy profec b II justthemain unit display .I guess they thought it was some kind of stero equipment because they popped my trunk and didnt take my tubular manifold and o2 housing.

 

what did they steal? I see the stereo is still there.

 

I read about this on svtperformance.com (guessing your brother) and (insert sarcasm) I so glad to hear this happend in Maryland. I will be going out tomorrow to put an alarm on my car, and keeping it in the garage everynight not just when I fell like it.

Sorry to hear about your car. I hope the person that did this gets mauled by Pit Bulls and suffered a SLOW death.

 

My Lightning and Evo don't have alarms but thats going to change tomorrow! This is the last straw because he doesn't live to far away from me.

 

you should be able to claimit through insurance without it hitting you and it seems the evo was hit last and perhaps whoever did it may have been disturbed before anything could go missing but it does suck i had it happen 2 years ago and i was wiped clean
