fuel pump took a crap

OR

Possibly bad gas or sludge at the bottom of your tank. The evo fuel pump is an "intank" pump, not out of tank like a lot of domestics

They told me a sensor got disconnected last time, today I was driving, and my car just stalled...i believe its the same problem. It would crank, but wouldn't turn on. This is really pissing me off!!

you never want to go lower that 1/4 tank of the gas because it puts more stress on the fuel pump because it doesnt have the pressure of gas in a tank that is more full, some places will void the warranty if they detect the excess stress and wear on the pump...thats mechanics school for u ; )

You should have just taken the car home and worked on it instead of letting the dealership deal with it. Sounds like an easy problem to me.

What are you talking about? Domestics just about all have the fuel pump in tank as well?

Usually the only time i have under a quarter of a tank is at the track! Think about how much liquid weighs!
