Explain to me what went wrong please.
Today while I was driving, the gas light went on, normally I can still drive for awhile before I need gas. But today the car shuts off by itself. I put 4 gallon of gas in, the car still won't turn on. My car only have 4k miles on it. I have a turboback exhaust and K&N drop in filter. I had to get the car towed.
Update:
They told me a sensor got disconnected last time, today I was driving, and my car just stalled...i believe its the same problem. It would crank, but wouldn't turn on. This is really pissing me off!!

it would try to start but won't turn on. and no i didn't disconnect the battery cuz i have no tool w/ me? would that of helped? and what is the reasoning behind that.
1. You shouldn't go that low with gas, turbo cars don't like that.
2. You fuel pump might have said bye-bye.
3. What mods do you have? We can tell you if the dealer will void the warranty

to reset the ecu, it sometimes works on weird issues. doesnt mean it would be fixed but its a temporary fix. try it out. and yes most likely your warranty is kaput because of yout TBE. i have heard dealerships voiding for drop ins as well. also one thing to consider, you made it sound like you drove plenty of times with your gas light on. very very bad for the fuel pump, so possibily your fuel pump went out

i dunno about a gallon, maybe half gallon, not 100% sure.theres supposed to be enough in the reserve to take you far enough to make it to the gas station. when it runs that low on gas though the fuel pump will suck up any crap that may be on the bottom of the tank though. depending on what dealership you go to you may or may not be covered under warranty. NO at most of them though. switch it to stock if you have the parts and then report to them the issue
starter?? Same thing happened to me one night. I was installing a boost gauge and a mbc, didnt even touch the starter, it was so random, because after i was done i went to turn the car on and... Nothing. So it ended up being the bolt on the starter, i tightened that up and havent delt with that prob anymore. So check that if you want.
I would agree with the others who say it's your fuel pump. The pump is usually submerged in fuel which is supposed to help cool the pump motor. When you run it low, especially in the summer time, it can cause the pump to overheat and burn out. Time for a Walbro
The fuel light will come on at varying times when it is low. It all depends upon your driving style. I have noticed when I am driving in a spirited manner that my fuel light will come on when the gauge reads just below the 1/4 mark and when I am driving conservatively it will come on lower.
