I made a post on MLR a few weeks ago. For some reason I havent been able to access the site in nearly 2 weeks though. The only other Evo I saw on the entire trip was a guy from the UK (also on MLR). I couldnt believe how many people were taking pics of my Evo in Holland. Are they rare there?

So the trip went fairly smooth. We arrived in Harwich to take the ferry To Holland with plenty of time to spare. We had a few laughs and a drink at the bar and settled in for the 6hr voyage.

We arrived in Holland and hit the road! Holland is very flat and there are green houses everywhere. I guess all that legal weed has to be grown everywhere to keep up with the demand!

We hit the German Autobahn and make so good time! 233 miles later and we arrive at Nurburg.

I bought a 4 lap ticket for 64 euro. Its cold & wet... first lap was absolute madness. It was like driving on ice. Very scary stuff. We call it quits and hope for a break in the weather. Time to have a look around. We checked out the Nurburgring museum and a local castle.

The next day it looked pretty much the same. It wasnt looking good. We had till 2pm before the track opened to the public so we went for a trip around the Ring trying to find some good photo spots. We found a few prototypes being tested!

The weather was looking up so after a quick lunch we hit the track for my last 3 laps. 2nd lap was a disaster. I started out really fast and then BAM- LICP blew off. I was only 1/2 way around the track. You have no idea how hard it was to go 6+ miles up and down hills with no boost!

After a quick repair I had 2 laps left to make some good memories. My following lap was pretty easy at first to see if I had got the LICP to seal. I was going pretty easy till some guy in a Boxster S got on my ***. Then I had to give it the big 'un! That was a good lap. After I let the car cool down for a bit it was time for my last lap. We all headed out on the track in a convoy. We were just gonna take it easy.... that lasted as long as it took to merge onto the track! This was the most hardcore lap I had done. I took the Karussell the fastest yet (50-60mph?). Let me tell you, even on stock wheels and tires they rubbed! You cant believe how rough that turn is! Note aim for the green fence and drop in on the 3rd slab.
I wanted to post my wife here to get good pics but even though its the most famous turn on the Ring, its actually difficult to get to. I felt bad asking here to walk that far.
Anyway Andy has a bumper cam so he got the entire lap on video. Once I get my hands on it, I'll post it up.
The trip home was pretty easy until we got back into Holland. Bumper 2 bumper. Not only that we got lost. We made it to the ferry with 2 minutes to spare. If we didn't make check-in we would of had to wait 8 hours for the next one!!! We arrived back home safe and sound. It only took a few hours to clean up the Evo, though I have yet to vacuum it out.
More pics and vids later.

It looked like you had a great time. You have to love the german weather. If you don't like it, wait five minutes it will change.
Seeing your video and still footage makes me want to go back there with a quickness.

It looks like it was a fairly good day to go driving. Looking forward to the videos.
