I love my car the way it is (save for the bloody rattles), but that's not to say I'm truly 100% satisfied. I'd love to do a few bolt-ons but I'm not prepared to void a very extensive warranty on a brand new car. The car certainly amazes in the handling and braking department, but I'd love to just throw an MBC, tune, and exhaust on it. This car just doesn't make enough power stock. Add in some coil-overs or even just some Swifts, plus 18s and a few minor body mods (lip, JDM rear bumper, evodave lights) and I'd be all set for a long time.

Ah well. When I'm no longer a student and have the disposable income to no longer need the warranty, I'll go through with that plan.

More than satisfied! The only things I want to add are anything to increase its longevity and protect the paint. I have modded my mustang since I was 16. I noticed the more you modify the vehicle the more things break on it; and the more you have to fix it yourself 'cause shops wont deal with it. I have to do all the work on the stang on my free time. It pisses all of my friends off at work that the evo is staying stock tho

Loving every minute of mine. Bought it sight unseen, never drove an Evo and haven't been even remotely disappointed.

I'm looking at TBE, Flash and a drop in filter as being the furthest I really want to pursue any time soon.

I modded the bajesus out of my Eclipse and it spent as much time in the garage as on the road, not really looking to do that again.

I enjoy the car being stock. The only mod I did was put MR Bilsteins on it. I have another car to mod and the IX is my DD.

i've had my evo for a year and a half, and i love the stock setup. i came from a modded 1993 z32 and the car is worlds better except for the stock power. don't get me wrong. it's plenty fast for what i need, it's just that some mods would give it a little more of a kick. i have warranty until 2011 or 108,000 miles. i vote stock for now.

I bought my car with 5000 miles and it already had gauges, injen intercoller piping, short ram intake, short shifter and a rice valve. i love it but i just wish i had the stock parts in case of a warranty situation.

the real problem is....these cars are WAY to easy to make em hit low 12's or 11's. so most people go ahead and do it. Like me

I dont own an evo, but I had a mustang, and I was going to keep it semi stock and yea that didnt happen for very long so I think you can only be satisfied if your a collector or a complete bore. Or just dont have the money to purchase mods. But I will end up going crazy like most of us!

Im at 55k and still have stock springs and struts......but i finally gave in despite the possiblility of bottoming out on the crappy Wisco roads. I ordered some Hotchkis lowering springs, should lower it just enough to get rid of the fender gap, yet not too low where i cant go on any incline!
