Easiest way to remove sound deadening?

Whats the quickest and easiest way to remove the sound deadening from the car? That stuff is a pita to get off.

Heating it up works good buts it messy, nitrogen works awesome with out the mess but its pricey. i went the heat route on my mustang and it sucked.

dry ice works.. just put some on and break off the sound deadening

never tried the dry ice method. Sounds like it might work. Just make sure you wear some thick a$$ gloves, cuz that stuff is cold!! I always used the gooey heat it up with a crafts heat gun.

my friend used dry ice.. it worked well but it was still pain in the aas
