I Have Problems With The Power Steering System On My Evo 8

Does Any One Know Who To Bleed The Power Steering System On The Evos. I Am So Close To Ordering A Power Steering Delete System.

You should be able to disconnect one of the lines on the power steering rack that goes to the reservoir. This will drain *MOST* of the fluid out of the system. If your pump is making noise, go to the dealership and buy a replacement, and don't forget the OEM fluid. once the new pump is installed, reconnect the new line, and fill with new OEM power steering fluid. Jack the front end of the car up so both wheels are off the ground, fire the engine up, and move the steering wheel back and forth lock to lock for like 3-5 minutes. The sound should go away. Make sure to check for power steering fluid leaks, and make sure to keep the fluid level above the minimum (the fluid level will go down once all the bubbles settle). I've bled a thousand different cars using this method.

sonicnofadz is correct. You can also check for metal in the system buy sticking a small *clean* magnet into the bottom of the reservoir. If you find metal on the magnet, yout p/s pump is most likely damaged. Quick and easy check. Good luck.
