If you read those graphs carefully, it shows that the twin-clutch is slower than a 6-speed manual that's being driven well...

No. The graphs show that the optimum acceleration is the same, but the semi-auto has less driver variability.

The first acceleration graph shows a small advantage for the MT6 (with more driver variabililty)...

I'll just keep my evo 8 thank you very much. learning from my past mistake of buying the first us model 8 and not waiting on the improved all around 9 with mivec I think it would be wise to do the same here. I would wait and see what faults if any the X will have and then watch mitsu improve upon them with a later model. Being that its a new engine layout with new drivetrain do dads and gizmos I'm sure there will be plenty of room for improvement down the road. But yea having the first X on your block does have a profound effect on ones ego. Translation. . .it feels good.
