Finally finished the install blue race boost intall at noon. I bought extra wires to extend the gauge harness to the radio and to the wiring that goes to the cigarette lighter (behind the shifter).

Gauge reads 17" Hg vacuum in idle. Test drove the car and boost goes up to 18 psi then tapers down.

I like the gauge. It seemed to take forever to install though.

Is it normall for the boost reading to go down at vacuum (15" to 25" Hg) for a bit when you release the throtlle in the highway.

AK - I just bolted the sender directly to the existing bolt that hold a relay in the engine side firewall. Did you use an extra baracket to hold the sender?

Thanks for the help on the wiring.

I actually took my radio out today and pulled the harness out that connects to it, and i used 3 basic wires off of it that say "what do you know" Illumination, Ignition/***., 12v batt/memory"

So it basicially easier the mix matching colors
white-orange on harness
red - Yellow on harness
orange - red on harness

Way easier then whate they are listing to use, and the wires even have the proper names that are listed.
