BAD electrical issue HELP
OK this is the deal im doing evo9 engine into evo8 shell, first thing im trying to do is get the immoblizer code off my old ecu, WELLL
problem is i get no power to inside of the car, the engine is not in the car at all, but the old 8 wiring harness is still in never removed, so i hooked it up to the battery "which has sat for 8 months" to the harness i get power threw out all the fuses in the fuse box all the wires/ plugs that go from the fuse box into the fire wall are hooked up. so the issue is
I can turn the key complete over and i get no power inside the car at all no light nothing, and i have no clue wtf is going on lol

uhm well start out with something as simple as checking the power on the battery..
try using sentances because i can barely understand what you are doing. Are youtrying to put in an Evo9 engine into an Evo 8? Using the Stock evo 8 harness? im pretty sure you need to use an Evo 9 harness as well as an Evo 9 ECU...
The ECU not being plugged in properly may also make a difference...
ither than that i would suggest you fix your grammer and take it over to the advanced part of this forum because evo general doesnt seem like a good place to find someone who has swapped over an evo 9 engine into an evo 8

Ok, no just forget about the evo9 part right now that was just to explain why the I am doing this. There is no engine in the car, and the battery has power, like i said threwout the whole fuse box and plugs on the harness in the engine bay i have power. Just no inside the car the key turns over and i get nothing. I need the power inside the car so i can get the immoblizer code off the evo8 ecu before i take the ecu and wiring harness out of the car. See what i mean now?
