eBay exhaust

I just found this on eBay. I need your opinions, I consider it very cheap and it can be that it is sacrificing performance.

you know its $290 for just catback.
Try looking for decent brand on classified.
i bought ebay ssautochrome tbe(paid 250)
i regret getting it. I could've bought used megan or buscher here for just little more. Also downpipe didnt fit on 9 with ACD so i just gave it away for free.
btw my catback is still looking good after 6 months.
i think only good on ebay is fmic, licp, vortex(maybe), and o2housing(depends on seller)

Search used if you are on a budget. I picked up the Megan used and am very happy. The good exhausts like the Megan and Buschur are high quality stainless and should last for years. That is why I had no problem buying used. Sure it wasn't the cleanest in the world like a new one, but your new one won't be shiny for long anyway.

P.S. This question has been asked many times before. Quick search for ebay exhaust would give you all kinds of info.

That ebay exhaust looks like the Greddy EVO 2 cat-back. If it is as well made as it looks and similar sounding to the Greddy then it should be a nice quiet setup for the money.

It looks like it tapers a little were the flange meets the catalytic converter, but if its only a 1mm difference it shouldnt make too much of a difference.

If you are going to go cheap get this http://evomoto.com/product_info.php?...d7ed7472ff15f7

At least it has proven itself, screw ebay crap its all shoddy, and SSAutoChrome welds will have leaks within a year

I got the e-bay ssautochrome tbe and it was great for a little over a year. Then the packing material in the muffler started falling apart and all it did was rattle really bad like marbles in a can. I cut it off and replaced it with the muffler AMS uses. Now its good again

Thanks for the advice. I really wasn't looking something cheap but neither very expensive. I just want more hp on my car. What about the Borla exhaust, I have not heard much of it on this forum. It is a bad exhaust or doesn't make the power that they said?

Yeah yeah go with Buschur. Do it do it. Pay $600 more for essentially the same thing. That would be the smart thing to do. I have the SSAutochrome and it is awesome. I don't care what anyone says, tubing is tubing. This has been covered many times over.

I have had no personal experience with Buschur, but I have heard from others that they are difficult to install.

I just got my Ebay TBE in today. It's not on yet but it looks great. Good welds, nice polish, and $350 for a TBE! I got this one:

It was recommended by my tuner as one that fits well and is not too loud.

Im personally buying the Ebay exhaust. Dont listen to this hyped up bs that a $800 bling exhaust is going to do anything better than a $280 piece (which if you would have looked harder, you would see that same exhaust is going for $280 from another vendor.)
