Did you put the hook on the floor through the hole on the mat? Because if you do that, I don't see anyway that the mat would slide around. My mat is starting to wear on the foot rest part tho, I think I'm going to get some plastic covers.

How about using that mat type stuff that you put under your rugs in your house? It has a light adhesive in it so it keeps your rugs from sliding around your floor. That stuff would probably work and it doesn't leave any adhesive behind if you remove them.

Thanks ZooRacer. Your English leaves much to the imagination but your right about the product. What you call a kick plate is listed as a support plate if I am not mistaken and is a Razo brand product. It also comes with a set of pedals.

That or the Momo Metal Mats would probably be the best solution if you want the "metal look".

Both of the mats look like they screw to the floor.

Mat Protector

I work in an office and we have those plastic sheets in each cubicle so that a wheeled chair can move to and fro. I cut a semi-circular piece off about the size of my hand. It's a little larger than the dent my heel was making in the mat. It's about 1/8 inch thick and it has those little nubbies so that it can't slide. Perfecto. Make sure you bring a knife because office scissors won't cut through that plastic.

My OZ mats slide around like nobody's business now. When I first go the car, they stuck right to the floor, like the were nailed down, but now I have to reach forward every 10 minutes to reseat the damn mat.

The mats seem to wear nicely, but the carpet UNDER the mat is ton to ****. Fun stuff.

why does everyone hate the floormat clip? lol my floormat on the driver side has never moved at all, it doesnt slid, how could it when it is clipped down? i dont see how it could possibly move at all since you have to pull it towards the seat and up just to get it off.
