Just get a downpipe, and an Exhuast cutout instead of spending money on a test pipe and catback,

then get a MBC - manual boost controller
Buschur Intake
Ebay o2 Housing
Lower i/c pipe
and a Tune, and ull be set for a long time,

Well the more power you create the faster the stock clutch will go. The idea is to upgrade accordingly. Take a look at Buschurs upgrade stages for an idea.

6 track days... buying an evo and not taking it to the track is like getting a $30,000 hammer and never hammering a nail with it.

Used TBE, MBC, Cams, Meth, and tune. A different suggestion but will make lots of power. Just save for a new clutch.

With a similar but smaller budget, I am going with the Ebay TBE, Hallman Pro Kit MBC, Swaintech coated/ported exhaust manifold, boost gauge, K&N drop-in filter, and a custom tune. That's running me about $700-800 shy of your $1200 budget. With the rest, maybe alcohol/water injection? Have not priced that myself. Also possibly more extensive intake work...cold air and upper IC pipe at least.

Truth is in terms of raw HP, once you have a TBE and a tune, you've already picked most of the low-hanging fruit HP-wise, except for possibly alch/water injection.

With a IX MR and 2K...(MR fuel pump and BOV are both already up to it!!!)
CAI, TBE, Manual BC, a tune and some track time will definitely get you the most =)'s. Buschur Racing parts are good, proven and tested. I have seen some small fitment issues...but anyone who knows anything could fix. After that I am looking at an AEM EMS, 'cause if the wx changes so does your stuff, therefore tune for your climate/environment you'll run in general. A flash may suffice, haven't tried, for general tune...but may put warantee in gepardy.
