This noise started a couple weeks ago and it would only do it sometimes, but not it is getting much more common. When i turn the wheel of the car, I get a whining (almost like air) sound. It sounds like the power steering does when you turn the wheel all the way to one side, but it is doing it under any turning now.

What is this and how can it be fixed?

check your Power steering fluid Level. CAUTION The ACD bottle is clear plastic and looks like a power steering bottle. The Power steering bottle is black metal, do NOT put power steering fluid in the ACD bottle.
