Evo VII and VIII Question...

Hey I was just wondering... I wanted to know what the lowest price was to import a brand new (2002 probably) Evolution VII to the U.S (Miami, Fl to be exact; ). Also, in the case that I do import an Evo 7, I was wondering what exactly I would have to change on it to make it street legal (right hand drive for example), and how much that would cost me.

In case importing the Evo 7 doesn't work out (Hopefully it does!)... There's another question I wanted to ask some of you guys really familiar with Evos... According to one of my friends, (if importing the Evo 7 doesnt work out for me) he said I could buy the U.S Spec Lancer Evolution VIII and simply remove it's front bumper/airdam and replace it with the Evo 7's... I just wanted to know if this was possible or not, and where exactly I might find an Evo 7 front bumper/end, because in all honesty, to me, the Evo 7 and 8 are both the same car, just that the 7 looks a lot better in the front than the Evo 8 does. Thanks in advance for your time, I truly appreciate it! Thanks!

Right hand drive should be legal.
You shouldnt need to switch it.

As far as things that would need to be changed, I dont have any positive answers there although my understanding is that it shouldnt need to have too much changed to be street legal at all, if anything. Thats why as a canadian, i could go down to new york state, pick up an evo, bring it back accross the border, and drive/insure it in canada.

To sum it up, i think with the exception of mabey a few things, while they might not be legally sold new in the U.S., that doesnt mean they cant be imported.
