Lucky Break
Lucky Break
So I was comming back from the movies last nite. it was late like 2am and no other cars were on the road. I'm talking to my girl and kinda not paying attention on the road. I aproached a light and it turn yellow and then I saw a cop at the intersection and i kinda just froze, i wanted to hit the breaks but instead i hit the gas a bit. S@#t i just ran a red light infront of a cop, no way i was getting away. So i pulled in into the next place i could and a few seconds later the cop pulled in but not behind me she pulled in beside me. I rolled my window down and she asked me that wat had happened, I explained that i was comming back from the movies and that we were talking bout the movie and wasn't paying attention. to make a long story short she said to be more careful and let me go. Wow!! i was in shock, not only did she let me go she was extremly nice.

Yeah she was def in a good mood. I do think it would have been worse if i made her come after me. The fact that i pulled over right away and accepted my mistake helped alot... atlest in this case. This was in Franklin on easton ave right infront of the stop n shop.
Law enforcement officers are usually lenient on you if you admit your mistake. They get lied to so much on a daily basis that a little truth goes far in their book. My sister is a detective in Tempe. I have also noticed the same thing from my past personal experiences.
