Which Clutch????

HKS Max Twin Plate Clutch Kit $1,695

Exedy EVO VII/VIII/IX Hyper Twin Clutch W/ High Clamp Load Press $1,650

Is it possible to get them for a lower price?
Who do you think is a reputable dealer I can buy it from.

Thanks for our opinions,

Exedy Twin HD Cerametallic for around $1350. You shouldn't be paying anywhere near $1650. Don't mess with the HKS clutch either.

Where did you get those prices, btw? I wouldn't buy anything from there or even look there for prices in the future.

Try http://NoLimitMotorsport.com (EvoM vendor), and there are many more you can choose from in the vendor list.

Exedy Twin Plate Racing Clutch: MM022SD
Your Price: $1,650.71

Did you have a second link?

I wasn't saying to look at a price listed on a site. I was saying to talk to them. If you go look at their vendor advertisement here on this site where products are sold, you will see them claiming the lowest price ever on EvoM.

Also, be sure NOT to get the SD - only the HD.

Warrtalon, why do you dislike the SD? Nolimit told me the only difference is a slight torque capacity. Same disks, different Pressure plates.

The HD is a sprung-hub clutch disc, IIRC.

Why, is the HKS twin plate bad? Does it make noise or not hold up well with repetitve slippage?
