Very odd noise only happens when it rains. If it does not happen when its dry I would not worry about it. Because water should only cause normal fender well slpash noises

I have a IX and mine makes a vibration noise. I put an aftermarket exhaust on mine and when it rains and the exhaust get splashed by water on the road, it will vibrate on something under my car. It doesn't do it all the time, only when it rains a lot. I never hear this when it's dry outside.

most likely the sound / vibration you are hearing is caused by watwer entering your exhaust somewhere.

Check / replace your exahust gaskets and the noise will most likely go away.

Thanks for the idea. I checked and my exhaust is not leaking...I think that the rain water on the road coats my exhaust and cools the exhaust piping. The cooler piping then rattles against my diff or TC. This is just what I think is happening...

I think it's when the exhaust is cooler (due to the rain water and puddles cooling the exhaust) it has a slightly different shape than when it's normal operating temperature. It must change the angle of something during heavy rain because it starts to rattle/vibrate on something under my car. But it doesn't do it all the time. Only during heavy rain and then only occasionally.
