SOLID shifter base bushings who makes them???
Noticeable. Not dramatic, but noticeable. If you do the base and underhood together it'll make a greater perceptible difference. Throw in a poly front motor mount and you'll feel like the steering wheel and shifter are welded to the drivetrain...
I already have the Speed Source underhood bushings, Buschur front/rear engine mounts and AMS trans/cam gear mounts. I've been noticing that the shifter feel in/out of the gates is not as crisp as I'd like, so that's why I was inquiring.
I have poly ones for the base shifter and Kartboys for the underhood linkage and there is a discernable difference but not much. I was apprehensive about going with metal ones due to possible freeze up.
ok guys. i got my bushings in and installed them. WOW. it is so gear to gear solid.... no more sloppy shift or that spunge feeling when ur slaming gears... its BAM. stiff and right in. just how a dirty girl likes it. i recommend these bushings and install was a snap. extremly easy.... i did it in about 15 min or so. pm me if you need help with your install...
i have underhood bushings already. but put solid bushings in your shifter base and the feel of gear to gear is very presice.... i am looking for avid motor mounts 90durometer and ill be all set.
