Every girl I know has hated until I take then to a specific on ramp by my place. First they yell at me then they start asking a million questions! Most people down here do not know what it is! I only have seen 6 in town and two are pure track cars

 

Girls/Women I know love my car! And that includes the wifey. If she could drive a 5 speed she'd probably have taken it from me by now.

 

No girls like my car... Most of my friends don't like my car... They all think its a pos lancer.

But I don't care because I love my car for what it is. It makes me happy when I mash the pedal to the floor while coming out of a sweeping turn. Also knowing that it rivals the performance of high end sports cars is all I care about in the end.

 

Yeah, how any people can say they bought the kind of performance we have with the money we spent? Not too many out there. My sister says that it looks like a toy on the freeway. I tell her to f*ck off, you drive a gmc.

 

This thread is funny. I don't care if a person likes my car. I bought it for my enjoyment and not to impress anyone.

 

I have a co-worker out there that thinks he can put a turbo+nos on his chev colorado, and make it as fast as my car.

I told him I can't wait to see the wrecker picking up his blown truck. I also laughed at him when he said it'd be covered under warranty.

I have another co-worker who thinks his Magnum (with the Hemi) is as fast, if not faster. I let him drive the car once, and now he doesn't want to line them up. He still insists the Evo wouldn't take the Magnum.

I always get chicks snearing at my car. The best part is though, the ones that are in the Civics with their boyfriends - when they get their doors blown off.

Speaking of Civics. I had a hatch-back with a spray-canned hood flick me off the other day when he was speeding through my subdivision (with kids playing, no less). All because I had backed out of my driveway, and he came flying around a corner and had to slow his precious speed run down. I just waved to him and went on my way. He even wore his hat like a ******.

There was an Alero at the drug store the other day. I had my wing off because I was painting it. He started to spin his FWD tires (with E-Brake, I saw no movement in the rear) as I was pulling out to leave. There were a handful of chicks in the lot (ranging in age), and they all just looked at him and shook their heads. What a tool.


I hate some of the reactions I get from people in their cars that they think are "hot". There's been, sofar, only three people in performance cars who I even remotely respect in this area. And one of them I had to calm down by showing that my kid was in my backseat of my car (he did though). And the only reason I respect them, is because they didn't sit there and try and goad me.

I hate egos.

was on the work today, sitting in traffic when a guy with three chicks piled into a 2 dr civic with only the front 2 rims came up. he started to rev (we were sitting still where were we going to go) but i could see them staring, even when they passed they were all completely turned around looking. unfortunately i was too awkward to do anything cool like wave or wink. theres always next time

 

I usually don't have my g/f in my car. She says it scares her.

Then again, she thought my old stock SRT-4 was fast.

I recently went out with 3 girls to meet some other friends for dinner and a movie and all that, and they had never seen or ridden in my car before. Before they got in, the first comments upon seeing it were:

On seeing the car from a distance: "Your car's pretty asian."
On getting into it: "Wow, it's really nice inside."
On starting it: "Wow, is there a volume knob for the engine..? This is like a race car."
On making a mild boost pull in 2nd: "OH MY GOD are you trying to get us arrested?"
And finally, dropping them off at the end of the night: "Thanks for the ride, you have a really nice car.."

Most sensible girls will get what's up after one night in the Evo :P Makes me sad that I'm getting rid of mine.. but I'm probably going to a built 95 240sx KA24DET, so I'll still have that HISSSSSS-PFWEEEE turbo powah
