Well nuts for license plate bracket?

Does anyone have any extras of these hanging around? I accidentally drilled all 4 holes for mounting the front license plate bracket!

Alternatively, does anyone know of a source to purchase them? I haven't had any success at the local Home Depot.

front plate bracket

Correct me if I'm wrong but on my IX it required three holes to be drilled. I drilled only the top two and it is holding fine. The bolts have the rubber pieces attached that hold onto the bumper from the inside once the bolts are tightened. Are you saying you need both the bolts and the rubber pieces? If so, I would just go to the dealer and pick them up there.

The instructions with the bracket call for drilling 3 holes (there's harware for 3) but the bracket is molded to accept four mounting points-- since I drilled 4 holes I mights as well use that mount too.

If it was up to me I wouldn't even bother with a front plate but the friendly NYS trooper who pulled me over reminded me that it wasn't optional...

So how many of those special bolts with the rubber fasteners on them do you need?

I only need one set (one rubber bolt and one screw).

Ace hardware carries wellnuts (here at least).

Of course they are SAE thread, not metric, but shouldn't matter for your purpose.

bolt

I'll check to see if I have one lying around. I should, since I only used two out of the three for my license plate bracket. If I forget, shoot me a pm and remind me.
