Question Front Mount License Plate Bracket

I will move to a state that requires a front license plate. Are there any brackets that you could recommend that do not require drilling holes on my Evo 9 bumper?

I have two L brackets that are screwed into the side "air duct" of the front bumper. If I remove the two L brackets you cannot tell anything has ever been screwed into the bumper as the holes are drilled up into the bumper rather than in front of the bumper.

I'll post a picture tonight.

Only thing I would recommend is putting some vinyl on the front bumper where the license plate might make contact with it at times (lower lip and fog light opening), but you'll see what I'm saying if you mount it this way.

Do you have a show car? If not, why do holes matter? The OE bracket fits perfect and looks good. Three 1/2" holes is all it takes to mount (for 9's)

^^^I agree. The OEM brkt is designed to fit square & looks the best

Worst is a front plate that is cockeyed

Two holes are good enough for the bracket. You don't have to use the third hole to get it installed.

Double sided tape is fine until you try to take it off, then it looks just as ugly as two holes drilled in your front bumper.

I'd rather have a goofy license plate location that I can remove (for shows/cruises for example) and not see holes than drill three holes into my front bumper to fit an OE bracket because it "fits square."

I am in NY and do not run a plate during the summer so I refuse to drill visible holes in my front bumper.

In cali it's a lot different. Cops use it as an excuse to give you a bull**** ticket then since you made him pull you over for that he decides to also add a modified exhaust ticket and hell why not send you the the smog ref since you ruined his donut break.
