Between a turboxs rfl bov and a ssqv which wil stall less without recirculation? I would like the greddy rs but from what people are saying a don't like the sound it makes.

 

neither.. if you want to vent your bov try getting the HKS EIDS that should help.

You don't here too much about the new Samco Sport, but its awesome. No surging and it sounds like a rocket booster engine. Holds boost like a ****.

 

Holly crap! I need to start a "which underglow neon looks better" thread. It seems like you guys care more about the sounds than the fact that you own one of the best f'n tuner cars you can buy.

Just throw the stock MR dv in there and if you really wanna hear the sound, get an intake.

well there you go. Just get the MR one and be done with it. But if you're really hooked on getting a little more sound out of it, then I would suggest looking for a Greddy Type-S. Had that on my 05 and it was the next best thing to stock except it holds way better.

They don't make them anymore. You have to find one used. It was replaced with that crappy RS version.

had the greddy rs before...idled low and stall from time to time, and that was recirc too.. now i have the jdm/ix bov, works great. never had a problem. get that instead.

 

i dont understand why all these homo's flame on running bov's to atmosphere. it is a kick *** car and you do have a turbo under the hood..... if your not running around the track then who give a ****.... if you like the sound good for you, if you like neon good for you ... (just make sure it doesnt look like a pep boys kit
) i notice there are alot of people who own evo and 80% of them spend more time looking for someone to bag on rather than make a community imo.

i've heard a greddy and it sounded cool but i hear they arent so reliable...

 

Ive had the Type S, turbo smart, MR, and HKS
The HKS has been the best one for me so far. Doesnt leak, dont have to adjust it, turbo dont shutter, doesn't stall, and the rpms dont drop. I had those problems with the greddy and the turbo smart.

But thats just my car i guess...cause i havn't met one person that hasn't said the hks is junk.

But if ur not happy with the HKS, the greddy should work. i know plenty of evo owners who love theres.

 

i've never heard one thing or another i know of 2 evo's running hks one being mine and other being my best friends and they are both flawless ...so far! i'm pretty sure my other buddy runs hks bov on his twin turbo 700 hp supra i think its all up to the owner on whether you like it or not
