Check out South coast, Huntington Beacch, or long beach
$37,000 seems regular

IMO, just get a special edition evo instead of the mr
Pretty much the same thing except the 6 speed and bilstein

the price difference isnt worth it

I paid about 37,800 for my MR SE out-the-door. The pre-tax/title price was 34,700. Sticker was around 38,000. This was GA though.

Try to talk them down, my dad is a good negotiator they cannot sell that car for MSRP when it was made in late 2005. They have to discount it some.
I got bought mine with 300 miles (Had to truck it from FL-NC then the dealer ship i live near drove it to me at my house) signed the paperwork there and he drove my rx-8 back with him.
for a auto rx-8 I got like 14k and gave like 12-13k for evo
And if you pay payments on it instead of cash it is going to send it up into the 40ks

You can get one trucked in from the East Coast in any color you want if you look toward NY,NC,FL. I guess you would have to have it re-tuned or flashed /shrug

since you are in socal you can try south coast mitsu, i got mine from there, also you can try hunington beach mitsubishi, from what i can remember south coast only has MR SE's left, they dont have anymore regular MR's, seach in the west region of the dealers section of this forum

also no MRs come with sunroof, only gsr ssl's

cool thanks for the info guys..

i think im going w/victorville, they seem to be working the hardest for us and we're trying to get them to throw in some options as a closer.. what ive had in mind for them to install is:
trunk cargo net, window wind deflectors, and mud flaps.. any body got any good suggestions for factory options??

I just went to southcoast on Saturday and all they have are black MR SE's. And like the guy said above many of em are like 2 years old. So if you want a different color/model I wouldn't try them.

either way there isnt a lot of evo's left.

so the longer you wait the chamces of you getting exactly what you want at a low price is verry slim.

good luck! hope to see yah posting pics of ur new ride!
