Funny someone posted this. I been hearing that same noise now too but only with the AC on. I dont think it's a tob bearing though since mine is still there when I press on the clutch.

Im going to schedule an appt with the dealer to see what it really is.

This is a normal noise on an Evo; every one I have heard makes it. I guess there are after market clutches out there with less noisy throwout bearings but AFAIK there is no way to fix it on the stock tranny. My Evo 9 has made it ever since I got it (and it had 7 miles on it at the time).

they will say it is normal... i have seen other posts where someone went to the dealership and was told it was normal and would get louder with the ac... the ac pulls more on the motor therefore causing louder noise... i try not to run the air... my wife hates me for it, but a high performance machine needs no stinking ac
