Repair Manuals

I was wondering what repair manuals everyone was using to help with the repair or replacement of parts for their Evo. I really want to know torque specs for bolts on the car. Thanks for your input.

there are illegal pirated copys available online through various sources (some bulletin boards of online auctions). You can also buy the actual shop manuals (paper or CD) at the dealer.

Good luck getting them for the 9 from a dealer. I ordered them with my vehicle last August and only received the electrical supplement. There were supposed to be two other manuals but I got the runaround from the dealer for four months until I gave up and got my money back. The dealer of course couldn't tell me exactly why they weren't being sent but suspsected they just weren't in print anymore. I ended up buying a cd from someone on ebay

Are the Cds you guys are getting off ebay for $8 actually any good? I know it's only $8 and if its not that good then oh well its better then no repair manual. But i remember when i first joined evom there were a couple vendors selling CD repair manuals for like $100. Let me know.

As far as I needed it, it was the whole shop manual.

I'm obviously not doing anything like rebuilding my motor, but for all the stuff I've had to look up it's been spot on.

Thanks guys, I think I'll get the CD from E-bay. I was thinking of doing the o2 housing and so other things down the road and was just wondering what the specs were.

I actually had no idea the CDs were illegal. My links were posted on good faith, to an auction that 30 seconds of Ebay searching can get anyone to.

I bought the real CD Manual from Helms,Inc. and it is over $100, but well worth it. Every inch of the vehicle is explained in great detail...
