His name is on the loan too. He had been making the payments up until a few months ago when he bought the second one. My grandmother just wanted him to have something nice in life his mother and father are worthless, and she wanted to try help him on his way to a better life. My grandfather was against this from the beginning because he knew what he was like. Also nanny was sick at the time and didn't think she was going to make it, so she wanted to make sure she did one last thing for him. So please don't think in any way this was their fault. He's also very good at pulling the wool over peoples eyes, basically a born conartist just like his dad.

because it's 3/4 of the way done already, and just like everyone else I love my car, and I've already sunk to much money into it to start over. But this isn't about me anyway, I've actually taken care of my car and pay for it...lol

oh I've drove them before, and I love them. If I didn't want to go back into debt for a car again I would certainly buy it in a heartbeat... my car is alomost paid off thats why I'm trying to steer away from it...plus the kid thats buying it is going to take just as good care of it as I have, he's rebuilt a 240 from the ground up before and Iknow it will have a good home. besides a 10 second daily driver is good enough for me

Definitely a sad sight. Good job in cleaning it up and giving it the care it deserves.

It's such a shame that he would do this to such a nice car. He don't deserve a car period (even if it was a car with no motor). It just makes me sick how he took advantage of his family like that.

Please do show some pictures of the car after it's completed. It will definitely turn this thread around and give it a happy ending .
