Stupid Problem with my new IX
Well, for anyone who may be seaching for this weird issue. I took it to Mitsubishi, and although the mechanic seems to thing it may not be a problem, he ordered me a motor. He doesn't want to take the door panel off multiple times, so he is going to try lubrication, then replacement all in one shot.
Well, the final window update...
They replaced my motor, and regulator, and the result was next to nothing. I think it was quicker just because they had the door open and lubed. They informed me that the felt was tighter on that side, and it may break in. But they concluded nothing is wrong with the window, and they won't be trying anything else.
So the short of it... a slow passenger window on an Evo is not unusual and most likely not a problem.

my passenger window is slower too on my 06 MR, and if i start putting the driver side window up while i'm already putting the passenger window up.. the passenger window slows down a little more. no weird noises tho.

and have them fix it
