Unhappy idle problem with RS BOV, switch back to stock, became even worse

hi, i installed a greddy rs bov a while ago, with the one spring mod, got no problem. but started yesterday the engine seems about to stall when i'm off the gas and press the cluth all the way down. so i looked it up, found a small hole on my vaccum line, changed a new one today but still have the problem, so i decided to switch back to my stock bov (plastic one), and the problem became worse. engine keep at around 500 at idle. and whenever i'm off gas and hit cluth (keep my food on cluth, like when i stop at a red light). the idle went to 300 rpm and go back up to about 700 , and back down to 300, back and forth a few times and stays at around 500. so any body know what is going on. btw, running recirculating. thanks a lot.

Have you checked for other possible leaks in any of your turbo hoses, turbo piping or vacuum lines?

Holy over-reaction..

Check for loose connections and what not, no implying that your turbo is bad dude..

You want to make sure that all of your hose connections and vacuum lines are secure and tight. You were one the right path, finding a vacuum line with a hole in it, just keep looking and hopefully you will find something.

your turbo is fine, make sure that everything is clamped tight on the stock valve and that its hooked up correctly and what not, you'll get it

thanks guys, pretty much checked everything, idle is better, but sometimes still going to about 300 and going back up to normal, at least it doesn't bounce up and down anymore, btw, the new vac line i got was pretty long, about twice as long as the stock one, that should'n be any problem right there, right?
