I noticed that yesterday... It was extremely humid and the exhaust seemed more "burbly." I notice it's also more "burbly" when I boost more.

I only notice my Whinebro keeps getting louder! Oh well, I have a BR TBE w/HFC and it is fairly quiet. I love it

less dense, more easily compressible, more sensitive to sound waves?

Seriously the engine is an instrument in which gets tuned. Just like a bandpass speaker box, certain RPM frequencies will resonate louder than others. Typically 4000-4500rpms is peak for my setup.
