Hi everybody, I have a Beltronics STI Driver, need some suggestions/ideas on doing a stealth custom install. I had an idea of keeping it mounted high near the rearview mirror and enclosing it in some grey material to match the roof liner. I don't want to use any suction cups.

Also does anybody know if the detector will function if it is mounted behind the black window treatment on the center top of the windshield??
