Well, the other guy in this thread that was going to buy it backed out....bought a 350z... I dont blame him he couldn't wait any longer for a car....So now I'm in the process of selling my SRT-4 to take over the payments from my grandfather on the Evo...figured why not living in the northeast AWD can be a lifesaver.. that and the fact its just a 10x better all around car...lol..and the fact it will have a fully built bottom end, kinda makes the decision easier for me....so if you know anyone looking for an SRT-4 let me know

hey, I love my SRT-4, and I've whooped more than my fair share of evo's and STI's with it (yes it's heavily modded)... but in the end the Evo is a much better car, and if I get as much stuff done to the Evo as I have done to the SRT....well, lets just say it will be redonkulous...

You should be ok if your still on teh stock turbo and shift below 7500.

If your going to go big power in the future and launch a lot, then spend the extra on the exedy twin hd.

I just finished reading all 14 pages of the original story and then all of this thread. This is one of the best and worst (at the same time) car stories I've ever heard. That's awesome that you managed to revive that thing from the dead. You definitely need to post before/after pictures once it's done.

Oh, and I love my ACT clutch. I got the street disc with the HD pressure plate and its actually nicer to drive than the stock clutch.
