First time I've seen that. And seriously, who the hell puts a pit in an area like that. It's almost as smart as those onlookers at WRC who like to sit at the apex of turns.

Rationally thinking, the evo owner did nothing wrong....Those things happen when you roadrace. Like said above, that is by far the stupidest pit area i've ever seen! If they werent PARKED there he would have just went out in the dirt and no harm is done.

 

uhhh....that was bout stupid as it gets. Kinda remind me of what happen in tenn. when the drag car did a burn out and hit all those people standing 2 feet away from the pavement. Thats how stupid the people that organizes those kind of events

 

wow.... the guy just pulled in way too fast obvisously. i would be pissed as **** if either of those two cars were mine. oh well

 

He was obviously not in control of his vehicle to be driving at those speeds. I can't see anyone remotely experienced doing that. *shrugs*

It's a shame that it happened that way. Worse yet, the video, the instructor is obviously pissed that the guy pulled over. Bad idea to pull over like that - that creates yet another saftey issue that was already higher than should be with the staging right there on a hot lap.
