All this winter talk is getting me excited. I love winter, had so much fun with the Evo last year. Too bad my car's a snow plow sometimes, I had snow stuck between the mesh and FMIC for over a week .

Hope we get a lot of snow in NYC this year.

LET IT Snow!!!!

I got to Fairbanks Alaska in February of 2004 and never any problems due to the weather. Some days got to -55 or -60 just made sure it was plugged in for the block and oil pan heaters. Just make sure you due all the cold weather maintenance before hand and have good tires and you should be good to go. How cold will it be were you are at? Make sure you check your antifreeze for the proper temp range.

I live there for three years all the problems were just problems with the Evos anywhere.

Just to repeat what others have said. Warning: Dont drive your Evo in snow with the OEM Advans.

I thought that was with the later models with the active center diff.

All I gotta say is go nuts!!

Just be careful not to hit anything, and ahh, no chipping of ice off the car! Park in a warm garage

I rarely even take my evo out in the rain.... But I was just wondering, Are an of you guys on LOWERED evos in the snow ? I am thinking of bringing her out this winter to see what she can do but if I did I would definately put my factory frontmount, lip and wheels back on. Springs would be to much of a hassle.

Get ready to plow some snow. I'm lowered and drive in the snow, I've gotten snow stuck in between the mesh and FMIC many times.

Damn I miss the snow. Why can't it be winter yet? I'm glad I have all season tires on.
