VIDEO of TTP-Engineering Fayetteville NC tuning!

Fantastic time was had tuning Fayetteville, NC for the tight knit group of Evo's located in that market. I wanted to take the time to thank each and every one of you for the opportunity to put my experience and knowledge into each one of your Evo's and would love to visit again sometime this year.

A member by the name of "Pro" put together a recap basicially of his own car on the dyno being tuned. The Evo started out as a UTEC equipped 4g63 with AMS 60trim turbo, 272's with MAF.

The car baselined 240whp with the 880cc injectors. The UTEC was removed and the injectors scaled on the stock ECU. We tuned it for 93 octane fuel at first. After that they added 4-5gal of 114 to 60% 93octane making the effective octane about 100-103. We tuned it as far as the stock ignition would allow, slightly breaking up on spark plugs of unknown age and condition.

The car had an incorrectly plumbed catchcan with one line to the PCV hose and another line to boost. This was rectified by sticking a bolt in the boost line to the catch can.

At the end of the last pull the bolt popped out of the boost line and caused a false knock reading as it "popped" out. The reason this information is being posted ahead of time is because I expect to have a few "tooners" and haters post in here stating that there was something wrong when thats not the case.
