Need Help from someone with Evo9.
I need someone to go look at their Evo9 wiring where the plug set that has the Maf sensor and Boost control solenoid, and tell me what does the very end plug , plug into, it has 2 thick red/black wires connected to it.
Went out and looked at mine and it's kinda hard to tell from your description.
And where you are talking about exactly.
There is a plug underneath the headlight housing and another underneath this black round thing.
From what I can tell, there is a plug down there that it plugs into, underneath the black round thing, below the headlight.
It's the only thick red/black wire down there.
If you could explain which end you need, it will be easier to find.
The one below the headlight, or below the round part?

its going to be near the driver side head light, see my problem is the plug is missing so i have no idea what its too or for. um if you follow the plug from where it maf plugs in at, and go to the very last plug on the whole set that comes from the headlights it should be a single plug with big thick wires so i might be what your looking at can you take pic's or anything?
pm me your email ill send you the pics.
If you look into the air duct with the screen/mesh on it, on the front end of the car [Dr. side], you can see the black round thing i'm talking about.
Right beside that, There is a blue plug end that it attaches to on the other side towards the engine .

I went out and looked also and have had that area apart many times and can't figure out what your describing. If the MAF and Boost solenoid are plugged in there is nothing else engine related there unless it's something for a fan motor that your describing.

Hey Sick9 what ever you sent me is exsactly what is missing do you have an idea of what its plugged into? part of the engine? tranny? acd computer? anything?
The pic. of mine you posted is from the outside.
It plugs in on the other side of that blue plug, In the engine bay.
Right where that plugs in, there is a softball size round black thing right next to the plug.
It has a sticker on it that says "High Pressure Do not puncture".
Not sure if it's acd pump or not but prob. so.
It's so tight in there it was hard to see exactly what that connects to. sorry.
Hope this helps, GL..
