I have an 03 evo,I am buying my friends megan manifold and 02 housing, he has an 05 evo. He wants me to buy his turbo so we can just replcae the whole thing without trying to take the manifold and turbo apart. Is there any major difference in the turbos? He also has a forge wastegate actuator that is included. He wants to swap mine plus 200 bucks...what do you think??

 

I believe the only differences between the two turbos are, 05+ uses the 10.5 hotside. and the 04 below uses the 9.8 hotside. That only differences in them. And since he is your friend and he is doing the swapping i would say go for it. Good luck.

Jump on it it makes a difference, I had one installed on my 03 and loved it car puls harder up top.
