06' IX RS - stock turbo

Mod list:

GSC S1 cams, ETS: 3" intercooler kit, intake kit and small battery kit, walbro 255 fuel pump, Megan Racing: tubular manifold, o2 housing, 3" downpipe, 3" test pipe, and 3" cat-back, Greddy Profec B, and tuned at 22 lbs.

366 hp & 317 tq on pump 93

I'm not sure if I'm happy about that or not.

Car feels really smooth all thru out the power range but I'm just not sure.

My buddies VIII GSR put down 350 hp & 323 tq(something like that) and I raced him a week ago untuned and he only pulled a half of a car on me. My base numbers were 331 hp and 286 tq, so that's pretty much what I had when we raced last week.
This week I get tuned and he's barely pulling me. He starts pulling me on very top end. Doesn't make sense. My car weighs 3150 and his is close to 3450. Something just isn't right. I noticed that when we ran his car smelled funny, but when we got back to my house it didn't smell anymore. I think he was either sprayin on me or got his meth kit installed.

What do u guys think? I already asked him and he denies it all.

Maybe he's just a better driver

 

I have to admit, I'm a badass driver, but my right hand is in a cast. I broke it a month ago. So he might have an edge there, but the car should defintely make up the difference there.

 

both on same dyno? what kind of dyno? and wat are his mods

His car is an VIII with....

Megan Racing: tubular manifold, o2 housing, downpipe, and testpipe, Buschur Racing: catback, intercooler, and lower intercooler pipe, some kind of intake, Tial BOV, HKS 280 cams, AEM computer, and evo IX turbo. pretty sure there's little stuff I left out but that's the main parts.

 

your budy is obviousely on something..... perhape race fuel or like you said his evo is on meth.

where did your TQ go?
To me its kinda low.

 

Gearing is totally different in the 8 too..longer 4th which could bring out his topend when you have to shift.
