I had the FP 3065 on my eclipse GSX, and lemme tell ya, what a beautiful street turbo!! its a 60-1 that flows 65 lbs/min according to Rob from Forced Performance. Which to me seems like a GT30r that flows 65lbs/min. I wonder if Buschur Racing uses a Forced Perfomance turbo or they designed their own off of the FP turbos... I would have loved to see the wastegate route directly off the exhaust housing for the Evos.

PS, We still need an outside vid... Flybys needed!!!

Oh kouzman, I saw you on the Van wick the other day, I was following you and then passed you when we were getting on the van wick/cross island from Astoria Blvd. Nice IX!

I wonder what that will do 0-60 or better yet 0-100-0. My best is 3.6 0-60 on g meter then I got a custom tune and need to test again.

I had a badly slipping clutch and doing a street start with a 2.4 second 60' she did a 12.4 at 119mph. A good sign of power is she went from 86 mph in the 1/8th to 120 in the 1/4 with the clutch slipping so bad I was against the rev limiter from just past 1000'

Is this correct guys ????

Derek
as someone said before, an evo 9 turbo IS a 16G so...and the 3071 and 3076 def wouldn't be after a green and/or a 50 trim....green/50 trim would be right before a 3065, then a 35r.

Evo IX turbo is a 16g and the 20g/Green is the next step up since its a evo IX housing with different internals.

I have a Exedy tripple carbon coming, as soon as I get it I will get back to the track for some times and vids.

I think the FP3065 BR uses is the just like the FP3065 Forced Performance sells.

Its an FP turbo, I think he gets his own cast manifolds made to fit the configuration properly

The BR manifold is a DSM style mount, Dave was had them made for the Evo back when he first came out with his kits. The FP3065 has been around for a while and the DSM guys have had really good luck with the turbo.

So far I like this turbo much more then the old 30r I had from BR, I really want to get a good pass on it to see how it compares to the 30r. The Evo 9 does weight 3450# with me in it and my RS weights 3100# with me in it.

Just one question about the BR3065... Does it make that same jet/ball-bearing sound while spooling? Didnt sound like it in the videos thats why Im asking. My GSX with the 3065 made some crazy ball-bearing spooling noises and I used that as intimidation!

Just wanted to say something stupid like that cuz Im still waiting for Flyby vids!

Great results from a stellar car! Any plans for more power, or just gonna get the drivetrain sorted and roll with it?

Funny you should mention that...it does make a jet type sound when it starts to spool.
