whistle

So I noticed today my car has a bit of a whistle while around 15-21psi of boost. Other day I noticed up under the car one of the downpipe springs bolts where broke off. I'm wondering if this is where my whistle is coming from? Any input?

A whistle usually means a boost leak. Do a boost leak test and fix your dp.

most likely. Your exhaust gases are escaping the exhaust track. It is either that or a boost leak. fix the exhaust first then see if the noise it gone.

Sounds good. Where can i get one of these boost leak testers and the spring bolts for the downpipe? The guy I bought the car from failed to mention one of the bolts got broke off. I'll extract the bolt put new ones in but the stealership wants 9.63 a bolt. Kinda high for a bolt if you ask me.

Most likely the spring bolts...................unless your passenger has Bells Palsy, and is hanging his head out the window at boost spike. LOL. Sorry, had to...

No other place to get these bolts? I've got the actual bolts but dont have the spring to re-use.

9.63 a bolt is pretty cheap from the dealership. Just get them there. Do a boost leak test too.
