clutch smell after drive

Lately i've been noticing that after a non spirited drive i smell clutch or brake lining. I thought it might have been a sticking caliper but that was'nt it. You can smoetimes smell it while your driving. This is really bugging me

Are you removing your foot totally from the clutch in between shifts? Some people let their foot rest on it and have no idea.

Are you getting above 3500 RPM? The clutch can slip then too.

i had this same problem:

one really cold night (~15*) my clutch slipped really badly without me even launching it or anything. For a while after that i smelt clutch after taking off, even just occasionally moving in traffic. I swapped out my clutch line for a ss one and got rid of the pill and i don't THINK i had a problem related to that since. My car only had ~10k easy miles on it.

only after i were to launch it other then that no, i would suggest taking it to the dealer. i know it will be a hassle but they might be able to fix something.

well if it happend after a launch, one would assume it would be the clutch. could be wrong but that sounds like the issue
