3rd way to instal mbc?
i have been cheking how to install mbc and found two ways here.
am interested in this setting:
from mbc to wastegate and other line from mbc to t-fiiting bt bov and intake manifold.
i dont have bov, can i still use same setup.
another thing i noticed that the other setting is from mbc to turbo nip. and a line from mbc to wastegate.
i also saw a third setup where they use only one line to the mbc and the other tip of the mbc is kept free where air goes out. has anyone saw this setup bec i want to know the line coming to mbc from where it is coming??

the only other way I think you could be talking about would be an EBC(electronic boost controller) being hooked directly to the boost solenoid. I have never seen how they are hooked up though, maybe someone else with one could elaborate.
The "Third Way" is called bleed off, From factory many of cars come with the bleed off style. There is a hose connected from the Waste Gate actuator to the boost source, in that hose there is a T with another hose coming off of it. The other end of that hose connects to NC side of a solenoid or boost controller, then the boost control device simply bleeds air out of the line to maintain a desired air pressure in it. Therefore controlling the actuation of the waste gate actuator. Only problem is with a manual boost controller the boost control won't work, you would have to use some electronic controller with a map sensor.

This is simply not possible the way you describe it. Any boost controller, be it ball and spring or vent, must have at least 2 connections ... one pressure source line and one line to the wastegate.
Sourcing from the BOV line can cause BOV flutter at partial throttle and spikes in your boost curve. Sourcing from the charge pipe is a little slower to respond but is much more stable. The only problem is that aftermarket LICPs don't have the nipple to source from.
The stock solenoid used the charge pipe for the source and the Greddy Profec Bs I've installed recommended it as well.
