Elevation Change???

Hey i have TBE with manifold and O2 housing, MBC, intake, fuel pump, and licp and i am road tuned for 23 psi abput two weeks ago. I live at about 3500 feet and my car runs awesome it feel great and i love driving it and it has givin me no problems. Then i go down the hill to work and it is at about 1800 feet and when i get on my car in second or thrid at 6k it backfires and i loose all boost and it feels and sound really bad. I dont know what it is i tried lowering boost and it doesnt help. So i think maybe it is the spark plug going bad but it makes no sence cause on the way home i got on it and it ran great at the higher elevation. Is it cause the elevation is making it run richer or what i am out of ideas. Can anyone help thanks

i think it has to do with it. temp, humidity, all the outside factors counts. for ex. my car runs differently summer and winter.

u would have to log your car if it backfires. What does your boost gauge read at 1800 ft. from the previous elevation? You might need an EBC if it varies too much.

My guess is that you're hitting boost cut/fuel cut due to the change in air density. Go into the tune and change the max engine load parameter.

Well it reads the same boost EX. third gear spikes at 23 and falls to 20 by redline at 1800 feet or 3500 feet
