Cold Start Up/Idle Problem
Ok, so when I start my car after it has been sitting for a while -typically overnight- it will start surging like it's going to die and then fluxuate back up again. It's in the 1500-500 rpm range, and when I try to give it gas it will bog, or lower the rpm's back down again and act as though it's going to stall. Usually after turning the car off and starting it back up a couple times it will go up to 2000 rpm's and settle back down to 1500 and idle/run fine the rest of the day. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, and if this question has been posted before i apologize but I couldn't find anything about this topic after looking for quite a while.
Oh and I live in washington state and it's regular temp's outside 50-80 degrees so i dont think weather has anything to do with it.

Normally I let it warm up for at least 8-15 minutes before going anywhere in it, I have a remote start so it has a chance to warm up. Im wondering if the Idle Air Valve is sticking or something, and no i havent cleaned the maf sensor, the car has about 30k miles on it should I be needing to do that already?
