im looking for a clutch thats round $300 i found this one but dont think it for a evo 8 says 86-89 Acura Integra 1600cc 200mm

the part # AI1-HD00 and on the act sit the part # for the evo is AI1-HD00 NOT OO

im confused. any help would be grate

 

ill help that clutch is for a honda.

buy one for an evo.

if the part numbers dont match dont get it.

As he said that is a part for a Honda, the ACT part no. for the Evo is MB7-HDSS. You're also not likely to find a new one for $300 from any vendor.

300?better get your paper up...to install it cost more than that

 

found one on ebay. exedy for $300 and one of my buddys has a shop so i will be installing it. with his help. hoping it will only take 6 hrs.

 

The exedy one on ebay is the stock clutch. So don't expect any high performance from it.

 

i juz got a new act racing clutch. it cost me 1200 for parts and labor!!

 

I don't think any vendor will do $300 for an ACT clutch, may be just the shell.

 

You'll be happier with the ACT then the Exedy from ebay. ACT will take more abuse than the stock Exedy. The extra $50.00 is worth it.

As for 1200 for clutch and labor...that sucks! I put mine in myself and it was not too bad. Only takes about 8 hours. Then I sat, admired, and

 

8 years later need a new one .....

 

don't cheap out on the clutch get something good and get it right the first time. first time when i did mine it took me about 11 hours non stop second time took me 4 hours so if the shop people know it could be less and good luck

 

ACT works great, at least to $1000 install
